async execute()#

Run a Git-LFS check.

This creates a new repository as the origin repo and populates it. Then it clones that into a second “checkout” repository, adds Git LFS configuration and managed assets, and pushes those changes back to the origin.

It checks that the origin has a Git LFS stub rather than the managed asset itself.

Finally it clones all of that into a third “clone” repository, verifies that both the managed asset and a plain old Git file are correct, and starts over.

At this point, since the origin repository holds a stub and the clone repository holds the Git LFS-managed content, we can conclude that Git LFS is behaving correctly.

Each time through the loop, the entire set of repositories is created anew.
